Passing the time

Last week was the long awaited surgery... honestly I could have waited another year or two, the recovery process takes way too long, and I'm not sure which is worse, the pain from the disease, or the pain from the surgery. I know it will be worth it once it heals, but it will take another 6 to 8 weeks, and I've only got one under my belt! Been catching up on some shows on Netflix, and doing a little bit of zentangle-ing. It's good therapy.

A little more paint on the canvas

After several 16-hour work days, I finally had a little lul in ad change requests, so I broke out the paint brushes... of course, as soon as I "got into the groove", the phone rang and work was back on... oh well, at least I got a little more paint on the canvas... :)

add some roses...

Last night's painting session was to paint in the roses, I don't think I am done with them yet, but I am not really done with any of the flowers yet, I just want to get the painted composition in first, then if I am happy with the composition, I will continue on.
