I just couldn't leave this alone. The lily-pad at the bottom was just too light... so I spent a little time with it this morning, and now I am happy. I am giving it to my friend this weekend.... it's done now, I'm sure of it. :)
This is so cute, I´m sure your friend loves it. Interesting to see the various stages it went through and, from one unfortunate perfectionist to another, I completely understand why you couldn´t "leave it alone." Better tell your friend to hang it up so high on the wall that you won´t be tempted to get it down and make even more changes. It´s just lovely as it is.
Thank you Helen. It's out of my hands now, in my friend's possession... I won't be able to change it again... and she did say that she loved it... I guess I am a bit of a perfectionist, but I don't think that is a bad thing, Intellectually, I know I can't get there, but I think it gives me something to strive toward. :)
