Bookmarks?

I've been playing around with some zentangle inspired bookmarks. I thought I might sell them for a few dollars each at the show I am going participate in, or just make print outs of them to give our with my blog address on the back... but then I got to thinking, do people need bookmarks anymore? I like a good paperback or hard cover book, but I also like the new downloadable books you can read on the cell phone. oh well... I'm taking some polls on facebook to see what people say.

  1. Yes, I know what you mean. I find it so much more convenient to take my ebook reader with me wherever I go rather than load myself down with a paperback for every occasion. Still, I can´t quite bring myself to destroy all my "real" books so bookmarks still come in useful. I´m sure others will agree and buy your pretty bookmarks.

  2. For a computer addicted genealogist, I'm a total Luddite when it comes to mobile devices. I still like books and magazines and use all sorts of book marks. I don't know what other folks do though. Of course I can't do the Facebook poll as I refuse to get entangled in that. See what I mean? I agree with Helen that some people will buy your pretty bookmarks.

  3. This blog also has issues. If you ever come here and it looks like you can't leave a comment, click on my name at the top "Deb Ammerman Fine Art 2013-14", and the comments option will activate. Not sure what the problem is. I thought starting up a new blog would fix things, I might have to look into wordpress instead of blogspot.

Thank you both for your kind comments. I am going to print off some of the scans of my bookmarks, and a friend of mine has a lamination machine, so we are going to laminate them. I'm really excited and nervous about doing the sale/show... but it's a very informal affair, and I think it will be a great start for me. Thank you both for all of your encouragement and support over the past couple of years. :)
